Unfortunately there will be no world of wheels contest this year in Boston. We are so excited to be involved withViva East Pin-Up Contest in July.
Last fall I had the pleasure of working with Ally Opps the 2016 World of Wheels Pin-up Girl Contest winner. I do try to be creative with these prize sessions and think of locations or video. We had started our day in the studio where we had a holiday set that was featured in the December issue of Pin-Up & Hot Rodz Magazine.
For the second look we traveled a short distance to The Modern Diner. I love these images because they are like a photo story where you can use your imagination of what is happening.
"The Modern Diner is a historic diner at 364 East Avenue in Pawtucket, Rhode Island,. It is one of two known surviving Sterling Streamliner diners still in operation. (The other is the Salem Diner in Salem, Massachusetts. Another lies abandoned on Hix Bridge Road in Westport, Massachusetts.) It was manufactured in 1940 by the John B Judkins Company of Merrimac, Massachusetts, and originally placed at 13 Dexter Street in Pawtucket. It operated at that site until 1984, when it was moved to its present location to avoid demolition." Wikipedia
