BLOG:2016 Boston World of Wheels WOW GAL Pin-Up Contest

This year I was so excited to work with the lovely Voodoo Jess of Milltown for the Wow Gal contest.  We had fourteen lovely ladies last Saturday who got up on stage representing their favorite era. The Judge selection was a secret until showtime. To our surprisethe Judges were

Duck the shop foreman, from "Wilson and steely",Goodwin of the Car Club kingpins, and The lovely Doreen McBride. WE asked Doreen What it was like to be a Judge

"As for being a judge, it was a difficult task! I have been a part of the WOW Pin-Up contest since it first started in 2010 so I was confidant in my ability to judge but I also knew some of the contestants previously.  However,  I felt I could be objective because I hadn't interacted with any of them since being away from social media for over a year. It was hard though, to give out scores on a number basis. I felt each contestant put forth a wonderful effort,  each filled with beauty, grace and poise.  The hardest part was keeping the whole judge thing a secret! "

Congratulations to this year's winner Aly Opps and runner ups Miss Smiley & Miss Daisy

Aly Opps will be awarded a special session here at the studio as well as her gift basket full of goodies. We cant stop thinking of her homemade fruit salad necklace.

It was greatto see that Frenchies Salon and Strange Beauty Bombshell were vendors offering their services to the gals.

Thank you ladies for making this year wonderful and Rick From World of Wheels for being so great to us.

There is a online contest going on on our Facebook page.  We will be announcing a winner of a session on Friday at 5pm. We will have a candid album in a few weeks.
